Jacks kissed me one more time, and then he lost control. Boneless from my own orgasms, I wrapped my arms around him and hung on. I’d hoped for awesome, panty-melting sex, and I’d gotten it.

His scent surrounded me, his legs tangled with mine. It was cute, it was cozy, and one of us needed to go. In less than a week, he’d gotten into my pants, under my skin—and into my heart. That was a problem right there, and it was time to take preventative action.

I rolled away and sat up. He let me go. I’d give him that much.

“Okay,” I said. “Thanks very much. You can go now.”
